According to the Aussie classification for Mario Party: Star Rush, it looks like ND Cube is going to be involved with development. Some fans aren’t fond of the work that ND Cube has done on previous installments in the franchise, but I think Star Rush looks like it’s really doing some unique and fresh things for the series. Color me excited even after this reveal.
It appears that the developer of past Mario Party titles is making the new 3DS installment for the series.
