The SEGA Saturn is famous for being a difficult platform to develop for, so Quake landing on the system was impressive. id Software brought their iconic first person shooter to the system thanks to the studio Lobotomy Software. They worked on a game called Powerslave before working on Quake Saturn.
The game was a demanding title during the time due to being a completely 3D FPS. It has issues running on the Saturn but still, it is very impressive considering that.

Mega Man is a classic gaming IP that has numerous incarnations and sub-series. They all offered something different to the table and made things quite interesting for the franchise as a whole. So, having a cartoon that is trying to do its own thing with the IP should be expected, not a shocker.
Press Release Follows: “Dentsu Entertainment USA and DHX Media have struck a global deal to develop, co-produce, distribute and jointly manage licensing for the new Mega Man animated series which was originally announced last summer. Man of Action Entertainment (Ben 10, Generator Rex, Big Hero 6) is executive producing the series that’s based on the classic video game franchise.”
One interesting thing about this news is that Mega Man has a different name compared to other incarnations (Aki instead of Rock or Mega) and that he has a dual life; he is a normal boy in school but he puts on his ‘Mega Man’ armor when he has to fight. Considering Man of Action’s past work, this could function a bit like Ben 10. He also worked on a show called ‘Generator Rex’ and that has a lot of influences from the Mega Man series. So there is reason to be excited about his new show.
The cartoon is set to release in 2017 in time for the series anniversary and we will cover more as the story develops.

Street Fighter V is releasing its extra fighters as DLC post launch for the past few months such as Alex but a new fighter joins the ring; Ibuki comes to Street Fighter V!
This character is a fan requested one after her appearance in Super Street Fighter IV, so her returning to SFV is nice to see. More characters are coming to the game after her, so we will cover them when they are announced.
Update: Capcom Japan announced that Ibuki will be releasing alongside the story mode in June’s big update, rather than sometime in May. This comes to light for Capcom Japan and NeoGaf Member Ryce.
Dragon Quest Builders is a action/RPG that has elements from the iconic Dragon Quest series blending with the popular title ‘Minecraft’. It came out in Japan early this year and Square Enix confirmed it is releasing this year on the PlayStation Vita (Digital) and PlayStation 4 (Retail & Digital).

Cobanerman is a YouTuber that covers a number of games, including series like Kirby, Mario and Sonic. His latest playthrough covers the impressive and strong Sonic fan project; Sonic Before the Sequel. It is a game I personally really love and it is nice seeing him cover this enjoyable game on his channel. This is an ongoing playthrough, so the video is the playlist version of his video and will house all the links to his on-going playthrough.
Square Enix released this title on iOS and Android platforms recently but many demanded to have the JP-only Vita version localized. After hearing many people’s voices, they responded with the above tweet.
This indicates work on a western Vita version is happening, so will update this post as news develops.
