In 2014, we had this crazy idea to partner with Fathom Events and broadcast our E3 Press Conference LIVE to some theaters North America, not knowing if this was something people would even be interested in attending. Two years later, and we’ve had to more than double our seating capacity to accommodate everybody!
There’s just something special about watching the news and excitement of E3 together with fellow PlayStation fans that makes this an event I look forward to every year. Between the loud cheers that, honestly, probably ruin movies for people in adjacent theaters (sorry not sorry), and the camaraderie felt in the air from being surrounded by the PlayStation Nation, there’s no better way to experience E3.
SIE has just announced its annual E3 Experience event for participating theatres in North America, that will enable fans of Playstation to enjoy the E3 experience on the large screen with many freebies including a special E3 Coca-cola cup, and a special E3 Experience card, shown below.
It will be shown in over 85 movie theaters in United States, Canada, and Latin America, and will be on the same day as Sony’s E3 Conference (June 13th 9PM EST).
Tickets will be available for free starting tomorrow on Tuesday, May 31 at 1PM. More details and locations are available on the PlayStation Blog post available below..

Dead Island 2 has had a rocky development, changing hands to different studios with Sumo Digital of Sonic Racing Transformed fame working on the title now. It is supposed to release this year on PS4, Xbox One and PC, but it seems like the PC version might not release.
Thanks to NeoGaf Member DeathSparks, we learned that games PC version could be scrapped. Support for this is the following image found in Steam’s Databases.
Could be that they are updating the registry information but this could be a first sign of more trouble surrounding the title. More on this as the news develops.
Ohhh, we got a spicy rumor coming from gameblog.fr, and according to Backflip at GAF, a sequel to Injustice: Gods Among Us, which is a fighting game that released in 2012-2013 on multiple platforms to strong success.
It was a fighting game that had the gods, heroes, villains and titans of the DC Universal fighting each other across interactive maps and a large-scale single-player story mode. Many enjoyed the game and deservedly so .
It is to no one’s surprise that the game is rumored to get a big follow up that could be revealed days before the E3 Show, NetherRealm Studios is reportedly developing the game, which might explain the reason on why Ed Boon was snarkily saying something about shipping a game on April 2016 back from February 2015:
Hope we get to see more of the new game!

GT Sport is set to have the following modes: Campaign Mode, Sports Mode and Arcade Mode. They sound like they would function like other games in the series with both offline and online variations on the modes, but that is not the case.
They all appear to be online only modes, but this isn’t confirmed yet. We will update the story as news develops.
IGN has officially unveiled that the developers who were laid off from Lionhead by Microsoft are now being given a chance by Microsoft themselves to use the Fable IP for continuing development for another Fable game in the making, but since they won’t be supporting them in publishment of the game, the new studio “Flaming Fowl Studios”, formed by Ex-Lionhead veterans Craig Oman, Mike West and Marcus Lynn and set up to finish the game.
IGN has also given us an exclusive look into the gameplay for the game, with insight of its development directly from the developers. (Describing the game overall)

PlayStation Plus is a service that offers people six games every month across PS4, PS3 and PS Vita but the line up the past few months has disappointed people hoping to get a retail release on the line up on PS4.
If this rumor is correct, June might be a time were we get a retail release as the below image suggests that NBA 2K16 and Gone Home will be the Plus Titles for the PS4. This is a rumor, so this might not happen. When Sony officially announces the Plus titles, we will let you all know. Note: The support for the PS+ titles is on the left side of the image; “Check out the latest free games on PS Plus.”

The SEGA Saturn is famous for being a difficult platform to develop for, so Quake landing on the system was impressive. id Software brought their iconic first person shooter to the system thanks to the studio Lobotomy Software. They worked on a game called Powerslave before working on Quake Saturn.
The game was a demanding title during the time due to being a completely 3D FPS. It has issues running on the Saturn but still, it is very impressive considering that.

I want to take the time to honor a great YouTube content creator; SilvaGunner. This fellow makes ‘high quality music rips’ of many different video games and they are amazing. Going to post some personal favorites and I hope you enjoy listening to them.
Mega Man is a classic gaming IP that has numerous incarnations and sub-series. They all offered something different to the table and made things quite interesting for the franchise as a whole. So, having a cartoon that is trying to do its own thing with the IP should be expected, not a shocker.
Press Release Follows: “Dentsu Entertainment USA and DHX Media have struck a global deal to develop, co-produce, distribute and jointly manage licensing for the new Mega Man animated series which was originally announced last summer. Man of Action Entertainment (Ben 10, Generator Rex, Big Hero 6) is executive producing the series that’s based on the classic video game franchise.”
One interesting thing about this news is that Mega Man has a different name compared to other incarnations (Aki instead of Rock or Mega) and that he has a dual life; he is a normal boy in school but he puts on his ‘Mega Man’ armor when he has to fight. Considering Man of Action’s past work, this could function a bit like Ben 10. He also worked on a show called ‘Generator Rex’ and that has a lot of influences from the Mega Man series. So there is reason to be excited about his new show.
The cartoon is set to release in 2017 in time for the series anniversary and we will cover more as the story develops.
