Ubisoft is no stranger to supporting Nintendo’s consoles and out of all the major third party studios, they continue bring games to Nintendo. For the Switch, rumors indicate much more is on the way, but for launch and launch window they have a few ports on the horizon.
Rayman Legends, STEEP and Just Dance 2017 are all hitting the system close to launch.

Just Dance 2017 will be the first Ubisoft game on the new console, and it’s scheduled to arrive at launch. As an added launch bonus, an exclusive track for Nintendo Switch owners (“How Deep Is Your Love” by Calvin Harris & Disciples) will be available via Just Dance Unlimited, the subscription streaming service with a catalog of over 200 songs. Players will also get three months of free access to the service on Nintendo Switch.
Rayman is no stranger to Nintendo consoles, and in Rayman Legends Definitive Edition, Rayman, Globox, and the Teensies are bringing their ebullient brand of platforming fun to Switch with all of the game’s traditional features, like Kung Foot, and some new surprises. For a different kind of adventure, Steep will offer up the open world of the Alps for skiing, snowboarding, wingsuiting, and paragliding. With a broad array of challenges, the ability to share your runs with players around the world, and a free Alaska update coming later this year, there will be plenty of mountain-sports action on the Nintendo Switch

The creator of Rayman (Michel Ancel) even shared some words on the Rayman series introduction to the Switch and gave the below interview.

Based on his comments in the interview, new elements and features for the Switch release will be Multiplayer themed and that makes sense. The Joy Cons are perfect controllers for 4-Player Rayman action. But I am hopeful that we will get more single player levels and possibly all the Rayman Origins levels ported into Legends; only 2/3rd’s of them ended up within Legends when it originally released.
Ubisoft is a publisher I’m hopeful will have great support for the Switch and if the rumors are true, they have two huge surprises in the works for the console for 2017 and beyond.
