In Nintendo’s new 3DS shooter ‘Metroid Prime: Federation Force’, we are treated to an after-credits scene showing someone hatching a Metroid Egg you collected in an earlier mission. This could imply that we might be getting another Metroid Prime game, considering Federation Force is set after the events of Prime 3: Corruption.
We will likely hear more if another Metroid game is in the works once the Nintendo NX is officially shown off later this year. Also worth noting, is that Next Level Games & Retro Studios are both rumored to have NX titles in production, so maybe one of them is working on this upcoming Metroid title.
