The LEGO Sonic content in LEGO Dimensions continues to present charming references to Sonic’s long 25 years of gaming history and a new one might have just popped up. The above video shows Super Sonic running around in Green Hill Zone but notice that once the player hits an Invincibility Monitor, they start flashing into rainbow colors. This could possibly be a reference to Hyper Sonic, a form Sonic can access in Sonic 3 & Knuckles once you collected all the Super Emeralds.  The source for the above video is Velcomia.
