Sony’s Animated ‘Spider-Man’ Movie Adds Alex Hirsch (Gravity Falls) as Story Contributor
Sony isn’t just working with Marvel Studios in getting Spider-Man on the big screen again with Spider-Man Homecoming but are also developing an animated film using another incarnation of Spider-Man (Miles Morales) not seen outside of some animated Spider-Man shows and the comic’s series. It looks promising due to having a lot of talented people involved (and this includes people who worked on the LEGO Movie helping with the film’s writing).
One very promising addition to the film’s team is none other then Alex Hirsch, creator of the hit Disney XD show Gravity Falls, is helping out as a Story Contributor.
Alex Hirsch, creator of the Disney XD series “Gravity Falls,” has been added as a story contributor to Sony’s “Spider-Man” animated feature, an individual with knowledge of the project told TheWrap.
The new film is set to feature Miles Morales as webslinger instead of Peter Parker, marking the big-screen introduction of Marvel Comics’ black and Puerto Rican Spider-Man.
