SteamWorld Heist Delayed To June 7th/8th
The upcoming PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4 versions of the indie hit SteamWorld Heist got pushed back a week from its original launch date (which was May 31st). The developers at Image Form stated why the game was pushed back.
“The reasons for the delay are related to publishing, localisation and quality assurance. We basically encountered a few scattered problems with the PlayStation versions that we have to fix before releasing the game. The extra week will hopefully give us enough time to fix these issues.
We’re working closely together with the fantastic people over at Sony to get the game out as fast as possible. Thanks for being patient with us!”
Hopefully working with Sony will allow the game to release at the new target date of June 7th and 8th. We will be reviewing the game in the future so stay tuned for more information on this title. In the mean time, you can find more information on the title through it’s website.
The game is currently out on the Nintendo 3DS E-Shop.
