The Astro Boy series is iconic, with him being the inspiration for many IP’s and products like Mega Man. He is coming back with a new game after a long wait; his last two adventures was a movie tie-in game with a CGI Astro Boy Movie & the SEGA/Treasure GBA Classic Astro Boy: The Omega Factor.

Now, Suda 51 and a number of other people are working on a new Astro Boy game called Edge of Time.  The teaser shows off Astro alongside other robots in shadow, implying that time travel might be involved.

The characters have been identified as Astro Boy, Black Jack, Phoenix, Dorodoro, and Rock. Project supervisor Macoto Tezuka is Osamu Tezuka’s son and the artists and composers are all well-known in their fields.
