Nights of Azure was JRPG from Gust who is famous for there work on games like Ar No Surge and other quality role playing games, is making a sequel to Nights of Azure. What makes this report interesting is that this sequel will be PS4 only; the listing in the image above only lists PS4. Considering when it was localized NA & EU gamers only played the PS4 version, this makes sense.
An image of what appears to be a schedule in either the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu or Dengeki PlayStation is listing a “Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon” as due out for PlayStation 4 on December 22 in Japan.
The game is listed to launch in a standard edition for 7,884 yen, Premium Box for 11,124 yen, and Special Collection Box for 17,604 yen.
Gust opened a teaser website earlier this month for a new title featuring Kagero series director Makoto Shibata as the story writer, and Production I.G.’s Junichi Fujisaku as the story supervisor. Text on the website teased a “story played by the new moon, interlaced with love, love, and love.” More details were said to be due on August 25, meaning we’d hear about it first in weekly game magazines.
