This is some interesting news; the indie game INSIDE released on the PC with the program Denuvo bundled with the game to help anti-piracy. But it is dangerous for PC, as it slows the game down and causes issues with programs.
Thankfully, the game was patched recently to remove this program, showing that PlayDead listened to feedback fans had on this matter.
