We reported not long ago that Nintendo Power’s entire run was put up on the Internet Archive’s website for free viewing and downloading. But as of this writing, all the issues got removed from the site.

Last week, a huge collection of Nintendo Power issues were posted online by the Internet Archive. That collection is no longer available.
The collection’s landing page still exists, and you can find it here, but the issues are no longer present. We’ve reached out to the archivist and are trying to find out more information. We will update this story as we learn more.

GameInformer, who reported on this update, is reaching out to the owner of the site to see what went wrong and why the issues were taken offline. This follows the recent events of DMCA takedowns being sent to file hosting sites having the AM2R (Metroid 2 Remake), but no word on if Nintendo or some third party is responsible for the Nintendo Power issues going offline.
Update: Nintendo is the reason for both the AM2R links going down & the Nintendo Power Issues being removed from the Internet Archive’s website.
