Sonic Project 2017 will not only have the two Sonic’s and some friends, but an original character for the Sonic series. The question about this is a bit tricky, as it doesn’t state new to the entire franchise, or just the SEGA Sonic Cannon of the series.
What I am trying to get at here, is that maybe the Sonic Comic’s character might be the ‘new’ character(s) referenced here or maybe it could just mean one of the Sonic Boom characters might pop up at some point.
