Surprising many, SEGA announced that they will be bringing Valkyria Revolution to western shores in both NA and EU in 2017 for the PS4 and Xbox One but in addition to those platforms, a version for the PS Vita. Many wondered how the Vita version would run, considering the game started development on next-gen consoles but with the recently released JP demo for the title on PS4 & Vita, we can finally see the Vita version in action.
Reviews 2 Go captured some footage of his time with the demo and we see a game that runs quite well. The frame rate appears to be a stable 30FPS and while the enemy’s run at a lower frame rate in the distance, the game still runs well despite that. With this titles more action-focused combat system, having a stable frame rate is important to ensure things feel playable.
We will be covering more on this title as further information releases.
