Pokemon Sun & Moon anime U.S. release date
On May 12th the dub for the Sun & Moon anime comes to Disney XD. I find it a bit strange that it’s coming out this late even tho the games have been out since November. Normally they would release the show around the same time as the games release. Better late than never I suppose. I strongly recommend checking this series out it’s pretty good.

Jak & Daxter’s Adventures Coming to PlayStation 4 Through PS2 on PS4 Program
While Nathan Drake had is (seemingly) last adventure on the PlayStation 4, Ellie going on a dark adventure in Last of Us Part II in the future and the naughty Bandicoot having an N. Sane run this June…Naughty Dog’s legacy is front and center in the PlayStation 4 library. But one duo is missing…and while this isn’t a brand new adventure, games can play the iconic travels of JaK & Daxter on PlayStation 4.
Through using the PS2 on PS4 program, the four PS2 titles (Jak 1-3 & Jak X: Combat Racing) will be playable on PS4 through upscaled visuals and trophy support. This is strange though, considering Jak 1-3 already got proper remastered ports on PlayStation 3 a few years back (and a butchered port on PS Vita afterward), so the move of making the ISO’s of games playable on the PS4’s PlayStation 2 emulator strikes me as…lazy to be honest. They could have ported the series on to PS4 natively like how Uncharted and Last of Us got in the past.
Either way, it’s great the PS2 on PS4 program is still getting used for something and if you pre-order the upcoming DLC expansion for Uncharted 4, you can get Jak 1 as a free bonus.

Lego City Undercover (Nintendo Switch) – Load Time Comparisons
When you play Lego City Undercover on the Nintendo Switch, you have a few options. You could either play it off the cart, or install it on the system’s internal memory. Does it help with loading? The above video indicates installing the game makes load times far shorter, which is helpful honestly. Having a game load fast for an open world adventure is great, more so if you play on the go.
Sonic Forces – Nintendo Direct Trailer
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7OUOQjz_pM
Sonic Forces is going to launch later this year across Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC. Considering this, the game had a major spot in the most recent Nintendo Direct with new information and footage. Classic Sonic gameplay got shown off for the first time and we learned about a third possible character joining the hedgehog duo across this new adventure. The Classic Sonic footage is very interesting, as he is back at Green Hill Zone.
Granted this could be a section of a larger level (kind of how the Modern Sonic footage indicates the opening act blends city and Seaside Hill-style designs together), but it’s clearly in the ‘past’. My bet is that similar to Generations, the game opens with you running through Green Hill/Emerald Hill Zone before being sucked into the dark future Sonic & friends are fighting. Level design is a bit worrying though, as it looked automated. Classic Sonic in Generations while feeling different, had the spirit of the Genesis game level design. While it could have been just a small clip, it’s worrying Classic Sonic appears to have very linear level design.
We know nothing about the third character, but it’s nice to get a hint at to what they offer. Either way, it’s great we are finally hearing more about Sonic Forces.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Switch Console Bundle Incoming (LEAK)
The Nintendo Switch is doing well for Nintendo, with Zelda and other launch games selling quite well. But with the release of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, many wondered if the platform holder would bundle the game with their latest console. Now, it seems they will do just that.
The first official Switch bundle has been outed by Nintendo’s own official store in Russia.
Consumers will be able to choose between two options: one with gray Joy-Con and another with the neon colors (note that these pages may be inaccessible unless you’re located in Russia or use a proxy). Both come with a physical copy as opposed to a pre-installed version.
Nintendo may be announcing this Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundle during its Nintendo Direct tonight. It’s unclear if North America will be receiving the package at this time.
Reported originally by Nintendo Everything, this is the first official Switch console release that will be bundled with a game. With a major Nintendo Direct happening tonight, this could be one of it’s many announcements. We will report more as further information comes out.
