Check out the teaser trailer for Croc: Legend of the Gobbos, an upcoming remaster of the platformer game originally released in 1997 on PS1 with ports to Sega Saturn and MS Windows. Join Croc, a lovable crocodile who embarks on a quest to rescue the Gobbos from the clutches of the evil Baron Dante, in this remaster. The Croc: Legend of the Gobbos remaster will feature enhanced HD graphics and updated modern control mechanics.

Retrospective on the PV-SD4090 digital camera from 1999! Panasonic decided to make a digicam based on the LS-120 Super Disk format they manufactured, and jeez is it an upgrade over a Sony Mavica in many ways. So I took it with me on a trip to New York to test it out!

Although this is not an actual product, but a concept demonstrating the potential of nanotechnology, the execution and ideas behind it were very much ahead of its time. You’d be hard pressed to understand why Nokia didn’t see the tides coming when Apple released the first iPhone, but they were on top of the world during this period, so some ego was expected to be had. Still, one shouldn’t dismiss their ambitions due to mismanagement with things that we now take for granted on foldable phones and detachable accessories.
