Uncanny Valley Review – PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 4, PC
The Horror genre is one of gaming’s most interesting, as despite taking similar themes and settings, you can twist them in creative ways to things interesting. Focusing on either action or traditional horror, it’s a genre of games many enjoy fondly. The PS Vita platform is no stranger to horror games both suspenseful and action packed, so it’s a great system for horror gaming.
A new release on the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4 is a game called Uncanny Valley which takes many notes from horror classics to create a new experience. Being in the shoes of a lone security guard in a isolated facility, can you survive nightmares both in your dreams and in reality? Turn on your flash light and explore the snow-covered landscapes to find out! Read More
Kingdom Hearts 2 (Final Mix) Review – PlayStation 2 (JP), PlayStation 3 (NA/EU)
Kingdom Hearts is a series that was huge when it originally released on the PS2 back in 2002. Blending Square Enix and Disney franchises together was such a strange move, that it worked wonderfully. Seeing success, Disney & Square Enix decided to make a huge sequel on the PS2 in the form of ‘Kingdom Hearts 2’. Focusing more on action instead of exploration/platforming, Kingdom Hearts 2 pushes the series further into being an action game then ever before.
Exploring new Disney worlds and fighting heartless again, does Sora’s second adventure unlock gamers hearts? Or does it sink into the darkness? Get your Keyblade ready and go on Disney-themed adventure to find out!

Explaining the Oculus Trial – Super Bunnyhop
If you have been following news in the VR world of gaming, you likely heard about a trial between Zenimax (Bethesda) and Oculus/Facebook. This centers around a claim that John Carmack broken NDA’s and used tech that was going to power Bethesda’s VR platform for Oculus instead. It is a major case for the VR industry and it’s a bit confusing to fully follow what is going on.
Thankfully, YouTube Content Creator Super Bunnyhop was able to explain things clearly with his recent video on the subject. You can watch it above this text and I recommend you do so. This case could be landmark moment in VR history and while nothing might change, it’s important to see the growth of VR good and bad.
Pokemon Sun & Moon Anime – Should You Watch It?
Pokemon is a series that has lasted years as a long running anime series. Many of us grew up following Ash & Pikachu on various adventures across the different regions of the Pokemon world. I fondly remember vividly memories of the original three seasons and loved the show growing up. Today I continue to watch the series and in late 2016, Pokemon got a new season for the anime branch of the IP.
Linking with the launch of the ‘Sun & Moon’ games on the Nintendo 3DS, Pokemon Sun & Moon got it’s own anime series that as of this writing currently aired thirteen episodes. Today I will be talking about why I am enjoying the series so far and highlighting aspects of the show I feel are some of the best in the series anime run.

LEGO Dimensions – Knight Rider Adventure World Gameplay (TheHiddenBlade01)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJRlztAs8ZA
While many have eyes on the LEGO Batman movie content with the latest wave of LEGO Dimensions content, don’t forget about a rider on the loose! YouTube user TheHiddenBlade01 was able to capture gameplay of a new adventure world coming to LEGO Dimensions.
Free Roaming as Michael Knight in the Knight Rider World in LEGO Dimensions. The Knight Rider World is unlocked with the purchase of the Knight Rider Fun Pack and is part of Wave 7.5 which released February 10th.
If you love the Knight Rider IP, the adventure world is a love letter to the franchise itself. Filled with references and vast locations to explore, it mirrors past adventure packs quite well content/presentation wise.
LEGO Dimensions – LEGO Batman Movie Adventure World Gameplay (TheHiddenBlade01)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBYQIrAelPk
LEGO Dimensions released a special Story Pack which contains two pieces of content; six lengthy levels detaling the story of LEGO Batman Movie and a full Adventure World to explore. The Adventure World is Gotham City and it’s quite fast in scope, similar to other adventure worlds. They show the creativity TT Games puts into everything they create and it’s great seeing them tackle the LEGO Batman Movie within LEGO Dimensions.
Some key things I noticed with this footage.
- LEGO Batman from the starter pack of LEGO Dimensions ‘morphs’ into the LEGO Batman Movie/LEGO Movie version of himself inside both the Story Pack and Adventure Pack.
- Batgirl, Robin, LEGO Batman and Excalibur Batman all have ‘stop-motion’ styled look inspired from LEGO Batman Movie/LEGO Movie
The source of this footage comes from YouTube user TheHiddenBlade01.
Four New Characters Coming to Fire Emblem Heroes (GameXplain)
Announced during a recent live stream from Japan, Nintendo and Intelligent Systems announced that more characters are coming to the recent mobile release FE Heroes. The most interesting thing about this news is that there are only four characters coming. With games like FE Heroes, pushing large chunks of characters out at once is the norm, so this indicates one of two things.
- Characters are going to be released in bundles (two-four) per X time period
- Not all the upcoming characters are announced yet
I personally think the later option is the most likely, as FE Heroes has been a financial success for Nintendo so far. We will report more on Fire Emblem Heroes as further information releases.
